Dragon*Con 2012

If you live in Atlanta, you know that Labor Day brings visitors from a galaxy far, far away like the Star Wars Jedi and Storm Troopers and Star Trek red shirts (They never had a chance did they?). You get the walking dead and the flying superheroes of Marvel and DC. Everything from the wizards of Harry Potter to the the Chief of Halo and having the question, “Who ya gonna call?” answered. Everything Sci-Fi, Fantasy and the imaginary world can provide. You know it as Dragon*Con and it’s kicked off every year with a parade down Peachtree Street to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta and Atlanta Marriott Marquis for a four day convention. The creativity and costume design is incredible. The simple solutions people come up with for a complex design, like the Steampunk and Netherworld ones, are amazing. It’s just something to behold those creature and characters walking through Atlanta. Here’s a small sample of what you can experience. Enjoy!
